Quattro passi sopra casa, con le nuvolette nomadi e le marmotte fischianti. Salute.

Backyard means a place adjacent to the walls of the house, where people who live there can take a break from all the rest. These photos were taken in “our” backyard, 10 minutes from Aosta, our home. Pedaling a few minutes you are in the top of a hill, better known as “Quota B.P.”, where you can really take a break from the city and enjoy both uphill and downhill. Numerous hiking trails surround the hill in all its extension, giving the opportunity for everyone to experience intense feelings without having to stray too far from home!

It seems that this year winter doesn’t come to an end, or that the summer has found some good reason to make us wait. These pictures are now “old”, we talk about the end of february. Massimo and I were in Zermatt for two days, guests of Vasco and Charlie and their knowledges about channels and gullies. Two days really intense, the kind that make you appreciate the beer at the end of the day! Here are a few shots, enjoy!

More and more I go to the mountains with hope and dream in my backpack, in addition to the camera. Hope to share unique moments, to make beautiful photographs, to be happy with my friends. I’m dreaming of stopping little moments and look at them in a few years, keeping them with little jealousy. In La Thuile there are no boundaries, or rather, it’s hard to find. In these early days of spring I find the time to publish these pictures of February. That day the Nothing found no space, we played with the elements, with a little more security, we knew where we were, we knew that at the end of the day our smiles were endless. Follow your dreams, always.
Fantasia has no boundaries.
That’s not true! You’re lying.
Foolish boy. Don’t you know anything about Fantasia? It’s the world of human fantasy. Every part, every creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind. Therefore, it has no boundaries.

A few weeks ago we were in Vétan for the Vétan Classic, a splitboard/backcountry meeting now at its eleventh edition. The day before the race we hiked to the refuge Fallère (with a little help from Domingo). Going up we found strong wind conditions. Once we reached the refuge Bubba and Ciccio walked for 45 minutes to ride a couloir next to it. In the meantime fog and wind increased. In particular, the wind, so strong that I could not even look into the viewfinder of the camera! After a quick lunch we started the descent. The snow was quite windy and the return to Vétan gave us a few surprises, thankfully everything went well! Now enjoy some pictures!
