First ride with the lifts, friday the 30th. We received the light, in the wood something happened, i’m sure. Pillows welcome us, the sun gave us some good minutes to ride and of course, the fairy were there, they let us ride in their home. The strictly necessary because the magic took shape. The shadows then came even more illuminating our smiles. Something happened there. Thanks friends, thanks fairies.

So it looks like the summerbreak is over! The ski season has been pretty long here in Aosta valley: we’ve been riding on Grand Saint Bernard Pass on the 12th of June, and back on it in Pila at the end of October, making it a mere 4 and a half months without riding… Like it or not, here’s some shots of June and October! Bye bye summer !!!

Today I had a very quick hike&ride in Pila. Francois would have come up with me but in the end has not got it. I decided to bring the same my camera and try to make me some pictures. At 8 I had on skis. The parking lot was empty, only my car. Paradise? At the end of the climb the snow was heavy and wet, too bad, I still can do some turns and have a big smile on my face, I needed so much those sensations! The first day went, alone, deep breaths. The season has begun.

This year’s Reunion has been more “friendly”, few good friends riding the beautiful tracks around Aosta. Thanks to the shuttle drivers, The French Team and to the good and joyful atmosphere! It was a pleasure to share the day with you!
